The spacious Library has a vast collection of nearly 50,000 Text Books & Reference Books. In addition a number or periodicals and as many as 12 news papers and fifty Journals / Periodicals in different languages are subscribed for. Xerox facility is also made available for students on payment basis. well ventilate, well-lit reading hall is available to students desirous of doing eading/Reference work. Book Bank facility is provided to deserving and needy students.

LIBRARY RULES :-

  1. The library remains open from 8.30 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
  2. Every student must be in possession of an Identity Card.
  3. Students will be issued Borrower’s Ticket and Reader’s Ticket on submission of :

1) Current Fee receipt and

2) Two latest passport size photographs.

  1. Every student must get the Identity Card and Borrower’s Ticket within 15 days after the

date of admission. After 15 days he will be fined Rs. 0.50 per day.

  1. Loss of I.C. or Borrower’s Ticket or Readers Ticket must be reported in writing. Duplicate

Identity Card or Borrower’s Ticket will be re-issued after a week at a charge of Rs. 25/-

  1. Normally a book is lent for home reading to a maximum period of seven days on Borrower’s Ticket.
  2. The student should fill the slip for the desired books one day in advance. On the availability

of the books. The Library will issue them as per priority.

  1. All student are advised to check the books issued to them and bring to the notice of the

library staff any discrepancy they come across (such as missing pages) . No complaints will

be entertained afterwards.

  1. Books will be issued against Reader’s Ticket for only one day i.e. between 8.30 a.m. and

6.00 p.m. or over night. Students will not be permitted to take the book out of the Library.

  1. The students who desire to take advantage of the book bank facility should fill in the printed

form available in the College Library. Books are then issued to deserving students on a

nominal deposit after consisting the following points.

(i) income (ii) Percentage of Marks

  1. Keep Silence is the cardinal principle in and around the Library.
