Career Fair

Career Fair was organized in our college on 6 Feb. 2016. In this career Fair total 16 stalls were put  by various Institutions/ Colleges. Career fairs are great opportunities to meet company representatives , new colleges, institutions representatives for encouraging students to begin the process of planning their future early. Inauguration ceremony took place in the college at 10.00 am. Nearly 1600 students registered their names for the same.

Objectives/Purpose of Career Fair

Providing information and tools to help individuals make the right choices for their education and training and demonstrating the relationship between education and careers. Encouraging students to begin the process of planning their future early.

Providing information about all levels of education and training – general, vocational, college, and University. Matching the needs of individuals personal and career goals with the needs of the labor market.

Addressing barriers to employment facing youth, and helping youth become more aware of labor market trends, career options, resource, and employment and training services available in the region.

Assisting Aboriginal youth to have a greater awareness of employment and education related

opportunities available to them and encourage them to pursue their career goals.
